Nativity Announcement
Date for your diary! Long Lane church of England primary school are coming to our care home to perform their nativity on Thursday 11th December at 9:30am. We think this is a great opportunity for community links and we are looking forward to this visit.

Owl making – September 2025
During September, our residents have enjoyed making felt owls with our activity lady Margaret.

Pet a Pony – 8.10.2025
Today our residents enjoyed a visit from Cupcake, the pony. All residents thoroughly enjoyed the visit. Our ECP was also visiting and got in on the action and she is going to recommend Pet a pony to the local nursing home in Etwall village. Trip to the Great Northern pub – 12.6.2025
Back in April 2025 our residents went to the Great Northern pub in Mickleover. They enjoyed it that much, that we returned on 12th June 2025 for another drink. They sat outside in the court yard and enjoyed a drink. Cheers!

Richard Comfort – 23rd September 2025
Back by popular demand, Richard Comfort visited our residents for an afternoon of singing and dancing. Our residents thoroughly enjoy his singing and request for him to return frequently.

Easter Bonnets
On Friday 11th April, Aimee, Rosie, Ella, Lilly and Layla kindly came in to make some Easter bonnets with our residents. We think they look fantastic! Good work everyone.

Remembering the late Mavis Wells
Wishing to say thank you to everyone who donated at the funeral of the late Mavis Wells. So very kind of you and we will discuss with our residents what they would like the money to be spent on.

On Friday 14th February 2025, our residents thoroughly enjoyed decorating cupcakes with valentines sprinkles. They look yummy.

On 7th March 2025, our residents thoroughly enjoyed seeing Elvis with his backing dancers. We danced the morning away.
