At Bearwardcote Hall residential home we strive to provide the highest quality of life as well as individual care.
Our aim is to maintain each resident’s individuality and independence in a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment. We ensure each person’s right to personal choice is maintained and respected, always striving to prioritise person-centred care so that individuals’ needs and preferences are incorporated into the way the home is run. We always welcome feedback and advice from family, friends and visiting professionals as well.
All but two of our rooms are single with en suite bathrooms. Two of our rooms are large enough to function as shared if needed. Each room has a nurse-call point in bedroom and en suite. Alarm mats and crash pads can be provided where needed. All rooms are individually furnished, and residents are encouraged to personalise them in any way they wish.
At Bearwardcote Hall the training of our staff is constant and ongoing. As well as mandatory training in all aspects of care, staff are encouraged to undertake additional training. Our aim is to equip our staff with the skills they need to provide high quality, person-centred care.
The meals and snacks our residents enjoy are provided by our experienced cooks, who are always trying out new dishes, while continuing to serve old favourites. All dietary needs and preferences are catered for: if you are vegetarian, or diabetic – or just don’t care for carrots! – it’s not a problem. Our location enables us to source much of our produce locally, allowing us to ensure freshness and quality. We know how important good food is to health and quality of life, and at Bearwardcote Hall this is a top priority.
